I’m Running Away To Join The Circus, and I’m Taking Evernote.

I’ve always wanted to say that I’m running off to join the circus.  In fact, let’s be honest – I’ve always wanted to actually join the circus.  However, it appears that I’ve cultivated some deep roots in northwest Arkansas and I don’t think the circus is in the cards… not that my children would object, obviously.

circusSo, I decided my next best option was to form a cult.  It’s official, and I’m pretty excited about it.  Naturally, in a cult-ish manner, I’d like to invite everyone to join… because what’s a cult without brainwashed members, right?

It should come as no surprise that my cult is going to be 100{cab58b9493bca9eccefbf3ae00ef5a3add1991efca1fb728a890b19984c3cc67} focused on worship of Evernote.  Anyone who has met me is already fully aware that Evernote is my brain, and now I’d like to brainwash others.

Happily, my friends over at Arkansas Women Bloggers are enablers of my cult plans.  At the Arkansas Women Bloggers (#AWBU) conference in Rogers earlier this month, they indulged me by allowing me to present a session called How To Become An Evernote Ninja {For Bloggers}.

Apparently, it was well-received and there was a lot of enthusiasm – I watched light bulbs appear above the heads of attendees, and after the session I collected an overwhelming number of applications to join my cult.

This was all a huge delight for me, because it was proof they were FINALLY listening to my delusional tirades about Evernote’s awesomeness.  Look, I have proof that it took three years of ranting to get everyone’s attention:

Evernote11Anyway, after the conference we were asked to provide recap posts for those who couldn’t make it to competing sessions throughout the weekend (and those who may or may not have left with good intentions, gotten home and drowned in laundry instead of next steps).

My recap post on Becoming An Evernote Ninja, Part 1: Why You Need To Join The Cult is up today on the Arkansas Women Bloggers website.

To devote more time to cult leadership (and because I’ve joined the team at Kendal King Group full-time), Magpie Marketing as a business has been quietly retired to the south of France, where our paths will no doubt cross again.  However, the Magpie Marketing blog is still alive and well, and it’s full of marketing musings.  Because again, I have to send all the words somewhere so as to not run my husband off.

Go check out the ARWB post and link from there over to the Magpie Marketing blog, where you’ll find the rest of the series on becoming an Evernote Ninja.

Good luck, grasshopper.
