My long-suffering husband has joked {I don’t think he was joking} that I have such an excessive number of words to expend daily that I have to blog just to use them up. I suspect I would have run him off years ago if I didn’t have a few other outlets for my words, although I’m not sure he sees any discernible difference since I still pellet him with about a 100:1 ratio of my words to his daily.
Anyway, it’s a good thing I blog. And write. And talk. And once in a while, someone listens. So if for some odd reason you are afflicted with an interest in more words from me, they’re hanging out in a lot of places. In addition to this blog, there are bunches of words in the following places:
- Arkansas Life Magazine, where I was privileged to contribute a piece called Brothers in Arms (page 20) to the August issue as well as short pieces throughout the magazine on summer first aid, the best places to cool off, the best new sports to try and Arkansans making The Natural State a hotbed for high-end furniture. Read the digital issue or subscribe (it’s a fantastic publication) here.
- My sorely-neglected but occasionally-inspired food blog: The Food Adventuress. It’s about to undergo a makeover – yay!
- The Magpie Marketing website, where I focus on marketing, social media and the work of some pretty nifty clients and other businesses that catch my eye, for their exceptional approach, such as Grey Dog – a vintage boutique in Fayetteville.
And, hopefully you are aware of the leather bracelet giveaway going on through this Thursday – read more about American Native Goods and enter here.
Whew. So many words.
