Getting To The Point
This is the pencil sharpener from my grandparents' house in Mena. I love seeing functional things like this that don't deteriorate through the years - it's just as useful as it was on its date of origin. Yes, I'm a fan of the book A Gathering of Old Men by Ernest J. Gaines, but I'm also a fan of old men in general. Before that comes across as creepy, allow me to clarify.
