I have a very exciting – and possibly hilarious – announcement: I’m beyond excited to have joined the contributor team over at IHeartOrganizing!
Now, before you fall out of your seat laughing, a little bit of background context: I’m not even going to pretend to be like the rest of these incredibly capable women whose homes and lives are full of all sorts of adorableness in the form of washi tape, label makers, chevron patterns and pops of the Pantone color of the year. These gals are amazing, and you should absolutely check out their blogs – you may already be familiar with many of them!
I am most definitely the geek addition to this team – you could say that I am the odd gal out, focusing on function over form. I’ll be contributing tips for organizing with technology – that is, all the best apps, software and tools for maintaining some semblance of domestic bliss. You’ll want to keep up with these gals for organizing eye candy, and they will not disappoint. Check out this recent roundup of organized reader spaces – le sigh!
And as for the gal behind the blog, Jen – she is like some kind of organizing ninja. I’ve been following her blog with enthusiasm for a couple of years, and I never fail to find inspiration and innovative ideas for keeping our house moving along the path to organized bliss. You’ll want to set aside some time to scroll through the IHeartOrganizing archives (this is the woman who introduced me to Stylebook – love)! She’s contributed to some fantastic storage and style publications and is part of the Target Inner Circle as well as a Better Homes & Gardeners Pinterest Pro.
In short, squeeeee! I am very excited to be part of this amazing group. My first post on tech tools for keeping pesky scraps of paper out of your life – I’m talking to you, grocery lists and kids’ school papers – is up today over at IHeartOrganizing.
